Custom church shirts
A ministry shirt succeeds when someone wears it on a Saturday. That single test rules out most of what gets suggested — anything loud, anything that reads as a uniform, anything the wearer would feel self-conscious in at the hardware store. The design that works is usually quieter than the one first asked for: a small mark on the chest, and whatever the shirt is really there to say carried on the back.
Church work is also where one-colour printing earns its reputation. A single ink on a garment colour chosen to suit it costs less per piece than anything else we do, survives years of washing, and gives youth groups, retreats and mission trips room in the budget for the number of shirts they actually need.
