Independent labels rarely order one design at a time. A capsule arrives as a mixed bag — a typographic joke, a dense illustration, a watercolour floral — with wildly different technical needs and a single budget covering all of it. Printing them all the same way is the easy answer and usually the wrong one.

Flat spot colours belong on screen. Soft edges, gradients and photographic halftones belong on DTF. Specialty finishes like glitter transfers exist because there are textures ink cannot fake.
