01 — The difference
A printer that answers, not a checkout that guesses
An online bulk uploader
- — Price quoted before anyone has looked at your artwork
- — No proof, or a proof you cannot change
- — Color "close enough" to your brand guide
- — Support is a ticket queue in another time zone
- — Reorder next year does not match this year
Boring Tees
- — A human reviews your art before quoting it
- — Digital proof, revised until you approve it
- — Pantone matched to your actual brand values
- — 786-302-9144 reaches someone who knows your job
- — Artwork, inks and garments documented for the reorder
- — We will point you to the cheaper method, even when it earns us less
02 — Serving Rockville
Why Rockville orders look the way they do
Rockville is the county seat and the front door to the I-270 biotech corridor, and its apparel orders reflect both. On one side there are county-adjacent organizations, Montgomery College groups, recreation leagues and civic associations. On the other there are life sciences companies running recruiting events, all-hands meetings and conference booths — organizations that need a hundred shirts on a date and cannot afford a printer who goes quiet for a week.
That second group tends to arrive with a design that is more complex than a one-color logo: a full-color brand mark, a gradient, an event graphic with a photograph in it. Screen printing charges per color, so a six-color design gets expensive fast at moderate quantities. DTF does not — it prints unlimited colors with no per-color setup, which usually makes it the cheaper answer under a hundred pieces. We will run the comparison for you rather than defaulting to whichever method is more convenient for us.
Everything prints in College Park and ships. No storefront, no showroom hours, no drive up the Pike.

03 — How it works
Four steps. You do two of them.
Turnaround is measured from proof approval, not from your first email — which means getting final artwork to us early is the single biggest thing you control.
- 01
Tell us what you need
Quantity, garment, artwork and your date. If you do not know which print method fits, say so — recommending one is part of the quote, not an upsell.
- 02
You get a real quote
A written number, broken out so you can see what the garments cost, what the setup costs and what each print location adds. Not a range, and not "starting at."
- 03
Approve the digital proof
We send a proof showing exact placement, dimensions and colors on the garment color you picked. Nothing goes to press until you sign off. The production clock starts here.
- 04
It prints and ships to you
Screen printing and embroidery run 10–14 business days, DTF 5–7. A 5-day rush is available for 20% more. Shipping is quoted with the job, not tacked on at the end.
04 — Who we print for
Built for how Rockville actually orders
Biotech & life sciences
All-hands tees, recruiting-event shirts and conference booth apparel along the I-270 corridor. Full-color brand marks usually print cheaper as DTF than as a six-color screen job under a hundred pieces.
County & civic organizations
Volunteer shirts, community event tees and staff apparel. Straightforward one- and two-color work that has to land on a fixed public date, which means the proof cycle starts early.
Schools, colleges & student groups
Montgomery College clubs, high school spirit wear, PTA fundraisers and team shirts. We quote to a budget number so a fundraiser actually clears a margin.
Rec leagues & fitness
League jerseys, 5K shirts, gym and studio apparel. Performance fabrics need different ink and cure handling than cotton, so tell us the garment up front.
Restaurants & retail
Staff tees and embroidered work shirts around Town Center and Rockville Pike. Reorders in a matching colorway are the recurring request, so we document ink and garment on order one.
Professional services
Client-event apparel, embroidered polos and onboarding shirts for firms in the Town Center offices. Embroidery when it needs to look like a uniform, print when it needs to look like a giveaway.
05 — Methods
Three ways to put your logo on a garment
Screen Printing
14" × 17" max imprint · 10–14 business days
Ink pushed through a stencil, one screen per color. Cheapest per piece at volume on one- and two-color designs, and the most durable finish we offer. Setup is charged per color per location.
More on Screen Printing→Embroidery
Digitized once per logo · 10–14 business days
Stitched directly into the garment. The right choice for polos, quarter-zips, caps and anything worn to work — it survives industrial laundering that would crack a print. Cannot render gradients or hairline type.
More on Embroidery→DTF Printing
13" × 19" max imprint · 5–7 business days
Full-color transfer heat-pressed onto the garment. No per-color setup, so photographs, gradients and complex artwork cost the same as a one-color logo. Usually the cheapest option under 100 pieces.
More on DTF Printing→06 — What drives your price
No per-shirt price list, because it would be a lie
Anyone quoting you a flat per-shirt number before seeing your artwork is guessing, and the guess is usually low. Four things set the price, and we will show you all four broken out on your quote.
- Quantity
- Setup is a fixed cost spread across the run, so the per-piece price falls sharply as the order grows. Minimum is 12 pieces, mixed across sizes.
- Ink colors
- Screen printing charges a setup per color per location. DTF charges none — which is why full-color designs often come out cheaper as DTF below about 100 pieces.
- Print locations
- Front, back and sleeve are three locations, each its own setup and press pass. The same artwork reused at the same size and colors is charged setup once, not three times.
- Garment
- The blank is often the largest line on the invoice, especially on fleece and outerwear. We will show you two or three options at different price points rather than picking for you.
12 piecesMinimum order, mixed freely across sizes.
+20%5-business-day rush, when the calendar requires it.
$35Art change fee, if the design moves after approval.
