If you accept analytics cookies before starting our DMV quote form, we may randomly show one of two forms. A signed first-party cookie remembers that choice for up to 45 days. We privately record form views, form starts, campaign source details, and accepted quote requests to compare the forms. These records use a random visitor identifier. We do not send your delivery ZIP code, artwork, or free-text notes as advertising event details. If you decline or do not answer, we show our existing form without adding this experiment cookie or measuring those form interactions. Your submitted inquiry is still saved so we can respond. Changing consent after you have started does not replace your entered details.
Boring Tees uses Google Analytics 4, deployed through Google Tag Manager, to help us understand how visitors use our website and to improve the site's performance and user experience. These scripts load only after you select “Accept” on our cookie notice. If you decline, or close the page without answering, Google Analytics and the Google Ads tag are never loaded and set nothing on your device. Google Analytics may collect information such as pages viewed, interactions with the website, approximate or general geographic information, browser and device information, referral or source information, and visit or session information, typically using a first-party cookie or similar identifier to distinguish visits.
Google Analytics does not log or store your raw, individual IP address as a data point. Google's systems may use IP address information at the point of collection — for example, to derive general location — without retaining the individual IP address in Google Analytics.
Our website also uses Google Tag Manager to deploy a Google Ads tag, used for conversion and campaign-performance measurement. We have not independently verified Google's internal data-handling practices beyond what Google publishes. Boring Tees uses the Meta Pixel, an advertising and measurement tool provided by Meta Platforms, Inc., which operates Facebook and Instagram. We use it to measure how our advertising performs and to reach people who have visited our website. Like our Google tags, the pixel loads only after you select “Accept” on our cookie notice. If you decline, or close the page without answering, the Meta Pixel is never loaded and sets nothing on your device.
Once loaded, the Meta Pixel may collect information such as the pages you view on our site, your IP address, browser and device information, and identifiers stored in cookies, and may transmit that information to Meta. Meta may combine it with information it already holds about a Facebook or Instagram account. With consent, our website sends page views and quote-funnel events such as reaching the contact step, submitting a quote, or choosing a contact link. Those events may include order-category selections and campaign or ad IDs from the link. With your consent, our server also reports accepted quote requests and confirmed payments to Meta. To match these events, we use hashed versions of your email address and phone number, advertising cookie identifiers, and—for a quote submitted from your browser—your IP address and browser information. Hashing changes the format of contact details; it does not make them anonymous. Payment events include the amount, currency, event time and an internal order reference. We do not include your name, delivery ZIP code, artwork or free-text notes in these server events.

Our website stores one item locally to remember how you answered the cookie notice, so we do not ask again on every page. That entry is set whichever way you answer and is not used for tracking.
Analytics and advertising cookies are set only if you accept. Google Analytics generally relies on a first-party cookie or similar identifier to distinguish visits and measure interactions with the website; we have not verified the specific cookie names Google Analytics sets in this implementation. The Meta Pixel generally relies on cookies named _fbp and _fbc to recognize a browser across visits. If you decline after having previously accepted, we clear the Google and Meta cookies we can reach from this site and stop loading those scripts on subsequent page views. When you withdraw consent while your campaign form identity is available, we register that withdrawal to suppress pending server advertising events linked to it. Events already sent or in transit cannot be recalled by changing the cookie choice. Clearing browser storage alone does not notify our server; contact us to request removal of previously stored matching information.
Most browsers accept cookies automatically, but you can usually change your browser settings to block or delete cookies. Blocking cookies may affect how parts of the website function.

We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide our services, fulfill the purposes described in this policy, maintain appropriate business records, and comply with applicable legal obligations. Advertising matching details attached to an inquiry are eligible for removal after 45 days or when a linked consent withdrawal is registered. Pending server advertising deliveries expire after 47 hours; their matching payload is removed after successful delivery, suppression or expiry. Minimal delivery receipts and withdrawal records are eligible for removal after 90 days. These removals run during scheduled maintenance. This does not delete the separate quote, invoice or payment records needed to serve customers. We have not configured a separate automatic retention schedule for Google Analytics data or data already held by Meta; those providers also apply their own policies.

Boring Tees uses reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect information, but no method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
