01 — The difference

A printer that answers, not a checkout that guesses

An online bulk uploader

  • — Price quoted before anyone has looked at your artwork
  • — No proof, or a proof you cannot change
  • — Color "close enough" to your brand guide
  • — Support is a ticket queue in another time zone
  • — Reorder next year does not match this year

Boring Tees

  • — A human reviews your art before quoting it
  • — Digital proof, revised until you approve it
  • — Pantone matched to your actual brand values
  • — 786-302-9144 reaches someone who knows your job
  • — Artwork, inks and garments documented for the reorder
  • — We will point you to the cheaper method, even when it earns us less

02 — Serving event organizers

Why event organizers orders look the way they do

Fort Lauderdale runs on a fixed events calendar — trade shows at the Greater Fort Lauderdale/Broward County Convention Center, festivals along the beach and downtown, boat show exhibitors at Bahia Mar, races and community events with a date that does not move. Apparel for an event is unlike most other orders we run because there is no flexibility on the back end: the shirts have to exist by a specific morning, not sometime that week.

That fixed date is why method matters more here than almost anywhere else. DTF prints full-color, multi-color event graphics with no per-color setup fee and ships in 5 to 7 business days from proof approval — the right call for a complex sponsor-logo design or a graphic with a gradient. Screen printing is cheaper at real volume for a simple one- or two-color mark, which is where most high-volume giveaway tees land. We will price both and tell you which one actually fits your design and your date, rather than steering you toward whichever is more convenient for us.

We ship by UPS or USPS to a venue or staging address, with no storefront for pickup. Start earlier than feels necessary: production time, shipping and your own internal approvals add up fast against a fixed date, so share your event date when requesting a quote.

03 — How it works

Four steps. You do two of them.

Turnaround is measured from proof approval, not from your first email — which means getting final artwork to us early is the single biggest thing you control.

  1. 01

    Tell us what you need

Quantity, garment, artwork and your date. If you do not know which print method fits, say so — recommending one is part of the quote, not an upsell.

  2. 02

    You get a real quote

A written number, broken out so you can see what the garments cost, what the setup costs and what each print location adds. Not a range, and not "starting at."

  3. 03

    Approve the digital proof

We send a proof showing exact placement, dimensions and colors on the garment color you picked. Nothing goes to press until you sign off. The production clock starts here.

  4. 04

It prints and ships to you

Screen printing and embroidery run 10–14 business days, DTF 5–7. A 5-day rush is available for 20% more. Shipping is quoted with the job, not tacked on at the end.

04 — Who we print for

Built for how event organizers actually order

Convention center trade shows

Booth staff apparel and attendee giveaways for events at the Broward County Convention Center. Fixed move-in dates mean the proof needs to be approved weeks ahead, not the week of.

Festival organizers

Staff and volunteer tees for beachfront and downtown festivals, often with a full-color multi-sponsor design that DTF handles without a per-color setup charge.

Boat show exhibitors & vendors

Booth and demo staff apparel for boat show season at Bahia Mar and similar venues. Screen printing suits a simple exhibitor logo ordered at volume across multiple booth staff.

Conference & corporate event planners

Speaker gifts, staff polos and attendee shirts for corporate events booked into Fort Lauderdale venues. We work from a brand guide when one exists and proof against it before press.

Nonprofit galas & fundraisers

Volunteer and staff tees, plus fundraiser merchandise, on a one-color budget-conscious print run so the shirts do not eat into the event's net.

Races, runs & sports events

Race day staff and volunteer shirts, often needed in a tight window after registration numbers are final. We will tell you honestly whether a late headcount change is still reachable.

05 — Methods

Three ways to put your logo on a garment

Screen Printing

14" × 17" max imprint · 10–14 business days

Ink pushed through a stencil, one screen per color. Cheapest per piece at volume on one- and two-color designs, and the most durable finish we offer. Setup is charged per color per location.

Embroidery

Digitized once per logo · 10–14 business days

Stitched directly into the garment. The right choice for polos, quarter-zips, caps and anything worn to work — it survives industrial laundering that would crack a print. Cannot render gradients or hairline type.

DTF Printing

13" × 19" max imprint · 5–7 business days

Full-color transfer heat-pressed onto the garment. No per-color setup, so photographs, gradients and complex artwork cost the same as a one-color logo. Usually the cheapest option under 100 pieces.

06 — What drives your price

No per-shirt price list, because it would be a lie

Anyone quoting you a flat per-shirt number before seeing your artwork is guessing, and the guess is usually low. Four things set the price, and we will show you all four broken out on your quote.

Quantity
Setup is a fixed cost spread across the run, so the per-piece price falls sharply as the order grows. Minimum is 24 pieces, mixed across sizes.
Ink colors
Screen printing charges a setup per color per location. DTF charges none — which is why full-color designs often come out cheaper as DTF below about 100 pieces.
Print locations
Front, back and sleeve are three locations, each its own setup and press pass. The same artwork reused at the same size and colors is charged setup once, not three times.
Garment
The blank is often the largest line on the invoice, especially on fleece and outerwear. We will show you two or three options at different price points rather than picking for you.

07 — Questions

Event Shirt Printing in Fort Lauderdale, answered

DTF handles unlimited colors and gradients with no per-color setup fee, which makes it the cheaper and faster route for a complex event graphic — a multi-sponsor logo lockup, a photo, a design with a fade. Screen printing wins on cost only at real volume with a simple one- or two-color design. Send us the artwork and the headcount and we will price both rather than assuming.

As early as your artwork is ready. Standard production is 10 to 14 business days for screen printing and embroidery, or 5 to 7 for DTF, counted from proof approval — not from your first email — and shipping sits on top of that. Add time for your own internal sign-off, since that step usually runs longer than people expect. If your date is inside two weeks, call us before you email so we can tell you honestly whether it is reachable.

Often, yes. A 5-day rush is available for a 20% surcharge, measured from proof approval. The real constraint is usually how fast you can get us final artwork and sign off on the proof — a rush order with a slow approval cycle does not actually save the time you need.

Twenty-four pieces total per order, mixed freely across sizes. That is reachable for a small nonprofit gala or a single-booth exhibitor, and the same minimum applies to a convention center trade show ordering for a much larger staff.

For a simple one- or two-color logo at real volume, generally yes — the setup cost per screen gets amortized across hundreds of shirts. Once a design has more colors or fine detail, that advantage narrows or disappears and DTF often wins even at higher quantities. We price both methods against your actual artwork rather than assuming one is always right.

Not on the same day — production takes real time even on a rush, so there is no same-day reprint once an event is underway. The honest fix is ordering a reasonable buffer above your expected headcount up front. If you know attendance tends to run over projections, tell us that when you place the order and we will help you size the buffer.
