Match the mark to the garment
Begin with the garment people will actually wear: a polo for daily staff use, a cap for an event crew or a layer for cooler weather. Then choose the placement. A logo designed for a wide web header may need a compact version for a left chest or cap front, so send the brand variations you are allowed to use.
Check thread-friendly detail
Embroidery creates the mark with stitches, not ink. Thin lettering and subtle gradients may need to be simplified. If your organization has a formal brand guide, include its approved logo lockups and color references. We can evaluate a stitch-ready version before you approve the digital proof.

Coordinate the receiving desk
All Georgetown orders are shipped through UPS or USPS from our College Park area base. Offices and campuses may route packages through a mailroom before they reach your team. Put the full receiving address and required in-hand date in the quote request so carrier transit is part of the plan.
For a dated event, use our DMV event shirt ordering guide.
Can you embroider a detailed Georgetown organization logo on a cap?
It depends on the mark and available cap area. Send the logo and cap style; we will assess whether a simplified lockup is needed or whether another decoration method would read better.
