A three-piece athletics kit — tee, quarter-zip and joggers — decorated on Nike blanks without touching the swoosh.
The brief
Athletics departments buy premium blanks for a reason: athletes wear what looks good off the field as well as on it. Howard came to us with Nike stock and the Bison mark, and a decoration job that had to look like it left the factory that way.
Branded blanks raise the stakes on every part of the process. There is no reprinting a mispositioned Nike quarter-zip at cost — the garment is the expensive part, not the ink.
What we did
Every piece was printed around the existing Nike branding rather than over it. On the tee the Bison sits centre chest below the collar, clear of the swoosh on the right sleeve. On the quarter-zip the mark goes left chest, balanced against the swoosh on the opposite side, with the placket and zip pull avoided entirely.
The joggers were the fiddly one — a curved thigh panel with a seam running through the print area, printed small and high so the mark stays flat and readable when the leg is in motion.
